Hello St. Mary's Community Members,

There have been reports of brown water coming from faucets over the past several days. This is an expected and unfortunate outcome of the power outages that have been occurring. When the pumps turn off, the sediment is able to settle out in the pipes. When the power and pumps return, it kicks up the sediment. If you are experiencing brown water, run an outside hose bib or cold water tap in a bathtub to clear it. Please be patient as we work to flush larger amounts of sediment out of the system. Thank you!
